Employee Relations Specialist - Netherlands

EMEA Recruitment is working with an international organization in its search for an Employee Relations Specialist to join the HR team on a 10-month contract.

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you’ll provide expert advice and guidance on topics related to Employee Relations, workplace investigations, and organizational change specifically for The Netherlands to create a fair and positive workplace experience.

Responsibilities of Employee Relations Specialist

• Lead Employee and Labor Relations across The Netherlands business
• Advise leaders and HR Business Partners on complex employee relations matters, performance management and disciplinary processes
• Conduct high-risk workplace investigations and support conflict resolution
• Build strong relationships with Works Councils, supporting collective labor agreement negotiations and consultation processes
• Provide labor relations expertise during restructures, organizational change and workforce transitions
• Coach leaders and HR teams on employment law, policy application and employee relations best practice

Experience required

• Strong HR experience with expertise in Employee Relations, Labor Relations or Industrial Relations within a complex environment
• Strong knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations and HR compliance
• Experience supporting organizational change and managing complex employee relations cases
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and influence business decisions
• Fluency in English and Dutch
