Blacktown City Council | Rooty Hill

Parks & Garden Worker — $39.38/hr
Duties include:

• Whipper snipper operation
• Ride-on mower operation
• Backpack blower use
• Edging and general grounds maintenance
• Litter removal and mulching

Requirements:

• Driver’s licence
• Previous parks or landscaping experience highly regarded

Aquatic Ecosystem Regenerator — $44.81/hr
Duties include:

• Bush and aquatic regeneration works
• Weed removal and environmental maintenance
• Site restoration activities
• Working across various outdoor sites

Requirements:

• Previous bush regeneration experience
• Relevant certificates and qualifications
• Ability to work outdoors

Painter — $45.00/hr
Duties include:

• General painting and maintenance works
• Surface preparation
• Repairs and touch-ups
• Working across council facilities/sites

Requirements:

• Previous painting experience
• Trade experience highly regarded
• Driver’s licence preferred

Bush Regenerator — $44.81/hr
Duties include:

• Weed removal
• Planting and revegetation work
• Chemical application
• Herbicide record keeping
• Working across multiple Blacktown LGA sites

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months bush regeneration experience
• Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management
• Chemical certification
• Driver’s licence

Ganger Road / Drainage Operator — $45.43/hr
Duties include:

• Drainage maintenance works
• Eductor truck operation
• Civil maintenance tasks
• Working within council infrastructure teams

Requirements:

• HR licence
• EOR High Pressure Use Qualifications (AS4233-2013)
• Previous drainage experience highly regarded

Canterbury-Bankstown Council | Roselands

Parks Assistant — $35.15/hr
Duties include:

• Mowing
• Whipper snipping
• Blowing
• Weeding
• Hedging
• General parks maintenance duties

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience
• Ability to work outdoors
• Driver’s licence preferred

Canterbury-Bankstown Council | Greenacre

Rear Loader Operator
Duties include:

• Waste collection operations
• Rear loader truck operation
• Street cleansing support
• General waste services duties

Requirements:

• HR licence
• Waste/street cleansing experience
• RMS driving record issued within the last 3 months

Canterbury-Bankstown Council | Roselands

Labourer Asphalt — $37.35/hr
Duties include:

• Asphalt labouring work
• Road maintenance support
• General civil labouring tasks
• Working within road crews

Requirements:

• Driver’s licence
• Civil/asphalt experience highly regarded
• Ability to perform physical work

Requirements:

• MR licence

• Strong reliability and attendance
