About the Position

The school is seeking a Graduate Business Management & Humanities Teacher to join its teaching team from Term 1, 2027.

This opportunity will particularly suit a graduate who is excited by a less traditional classroom model. Rather than relying heavily on teacher-directed instruction, educators facilitate learning, encourage student voice and choice, and help students become increasingly independent in how they approach their learning.

The school operates a vertical curriculum, allowing students to select learning based on readiness and interest rather than solely by year level. Teaching incorporates inquiry, project-based learning and real-world contexts, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and problem-solving.

Previous experience with this style of education is not essential. The school is looking for a graduate with the right mindset, willingness to learn and genuine interest in developing within a progressive teaching environment.

Requirements to Apply

• Completed or completing a relevant Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching, with suitable Business Management and/or Humanities teaching methods.

• Registration with or eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

• Full Australian work rights.

• Two professional referees.
