Principal Project Coordinator - ICM

Kingston Human Capital are proud to be supporting a QLD State Government Department with the appointment of a Principal Project Coordinator (Construction)
  
What this role offers you:

• 2 Year safe contract
• $80-90 per Hour + Superannuation (PAYG)
• 7.25hr per Day / 36.25 Hours per week
• Both Brisbane CBD office and on-site locations
• ASAP start date

Your new role

• Lead, manage and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of school infrastructure projects that may range in value from $1M to $100M. 
• Engaging and leading multidisciplinary project teams of external project managers and consultants.
• Oversee and maintain critical project information, including milestones and expenditure, within departmental systems such as SAP, ensuring data accuracy, currency, and compliance with departmental reporting and audit standards.
• Prepare coherent and politically sensitive reports, correspondence and submissions to key stakeholders and clients. This includes: the Minister, Director-General, ISD executive and other departmental stakeholders.
• Support the work of other team members through mentoring and training opportunities.
• Provide high level support to unit managers by retaining an interest in creating, maintaining, renewing and improving built environments for the benefit of end users

Desirable Experience 

• The successful candidate will have proven experience in Senior Project Management projects, preferably within the QLD State Government sector. A strong background in infrastructure management, leadership and outward thinking.
