Odyssey House College operates a residential community at Ingleburn and provides specialised secondary education for adults requiring a highly supportive, trauma informed learning environment. With small class sizes, flexible pathways and a strong focus on practical skills, the College supports students to reconnect with education and prepare for future training or employment.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Principal, the Industrial Arts Teacher will be primarily based in Ingleburn and deliver NESA-aligned curriculum to students within the Odyssey House residential program, helping build education, life skills and future pathways.

- Plan and deliver engaging Industrial Arts lessons aligned with NESA requirements
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to guide development
- Contribute to individual education planning and maintain accurate student records
- Work collaboratively with education staff and multidisciplinary support teams
About you
You are a passionate educator or trainer who enjoys hands-on teaching and is motivated by making a meaningful social impact. You may come from a school or vocational education background and are looking for a different, more purpose-driven context.
- Bachelor of Education, Master of Teaching or relevant VET qualification
- NSW teacher accreditation with NESA preferred, though not essential
- Experience teaching Industrial Arts or TAS (timber)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting
