Business Analyst – SAP / Finance / Insurance – 50k to 80k

I am currently helping our Client seeking an IT Business Analyst with SAP experience to join the team in Hong Kong.

Your role:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Work with end users to identify and document business requirements, challenges, and opportunities to automate or improve systems and processes.
  • Translate business requirements and project specifications into process diagrams that clarify workflows and expected outcomes.
  • Configure and maintain systems and software to meet end-user needs.
  • Oversee programming activities to ensure compliance with approved methodologies and procedures.
  • Coordinate unit and regression testing, resolve defects, and verify that solutions meet business requirements and specifications.
  • Work with business stakeholders to obtain User Acceptance Testing sign-off.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and selection of software packages, third-party products, and applications. Assess technical suitability and recommend solutions to end users.
  • Investigate system issues and malfunctions, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Research technical and functional solutions, products, and alternatives, and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor operational support and help ensure issues are resolved effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve information systems and propose solutions that meet user and business needs.
  • Keep up to date with developments in relevant technologies and recommend appropriate applications or programs.
  • Support the training and development of new employees and trainees, helping them build the skills needed to perform their responsibilities independently.

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with multiple SAP modules; FICO experience is preferred.
