Lead Technical Business Analyst

Our client is a leading international financial institution undertaking a major transformation of its Credit Technology platform. They are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst to drive solution design, business analysis leadership, and delivery across complex credit and wealth financing initiatives.

This is a highly visible role partnering with senior business, technology, risk, and operations stakeholders across multiple markets to modernize credit platforms, improve operating efficiency, and support strategic business growth.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Lead solution design for Credit platform capabilities, covering application processing, decisioning, simulations, reporting, and workflow management.
• Establish and drive best practices for business analysis, including standards, methodologies, templates, and governance.
• Partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into clear business and functional requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between business, risk, operations, and engineering teams.
• Facilitate project governance forums, working groups, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Define and document epics, user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed functional designs, including business processes, workflow logic, data mappings, business rules, and exception handling.
• Support product owners in backlog management, prioritization, release planning, and dependency tracking.
• Lead solution review sessions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Drive integration initiatives across credit, risk, trading, finance, and data platforms.
• Support testing, UAT, release management, and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure regulatory, audit, risk, and control requirements are incorporated into solution design and implementation.

Required Skills for the Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar
• 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale technology change initiatives within banking or financial services.
• Strong experience working within Credit, Wealth Financing, Lending, or Credit Risk platforms.
• Proven track record as a Lead Business Analyst, Technology Lead, Product Owner, or similar leadership role in complex transformation programmes.
• Experience working within Private Banking and/or Wealth Management environments.
• Strong understanding of credit products, lending workflows, collateral management, and credit lifecycle processes.
• Experience delivering solutions in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • APIs and system integrations
  • Event-driven architectures
  • Data flows and data governance
  • Enterprise application ecosystems
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, reconciliation, and data quality management.
• Experience defining non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resilience, security, and availability.
• Familiarity with architecture governance frameworks and documentation standards.
• Understanding of end-to-end system dependencies and integration patterns.
• Experience collaborating closely with development, QA, and testing teams throughout the SDLC.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating delivery across multiple business and technology domains.
• Strong risk and controls mindset with the ability to balance business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and related delivery management platforms.
