Apply directGTM Search is recruiting an BDM for our client in the RecTech space. We’re looking for proven experience as an BDM/similar sales role within the Recruitment SaaS/Technology industry. Or familiarity with the recruitment industry, including knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate sourcing tools, and related technologies.
This is a remote first role, with travel to the companies head office on a monthly basis for team meetings/training sessions etc.
As an BDM in the Recruitment SaaS/Technology industry, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth for the organisation. You will play a crucial role in prospecting, qualifying leads, and building relationships with potential clients in the recruitment industry. You will also have responsibility for closing the deals that you generate.
Responsibilities
· Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers within the recruitment industry. Utilise various channels like email campaigns, cold calling, social media, and industry events to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
· Qualification: Engage with prospects through effective communication to understand their needs, challenges, and pain points. Conduct thorough qualification of leads and determine their potential as viable sales opportunities.
· Solution Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospects, showcasing the unique value proposition of our Recruitment SaaS/Technology solutions. Tailor the presentations to address specific customer requirements and demonstrate how our products can solve their recruitment challenges.
· Close new business opportunities
· Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the recruitment industry. Develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and challenges, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies, campaigns, and messaging. Share market feedback, competitive insights, and customer requirements to contribute to product enhancements and marketing initiatives.
· Sales Support: Support the sales team by providing qualified opportunities and assisting in the development of sales strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and opportunities in the CRM system.
· Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the recruitment SaaS/Technology industry. Continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise to effectively communicate the value of our products to potential customers.
Experience Required
· Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar sales role within the Recruitment SaaS/Technology industry.
· Familiarity with the recruitment industry, including knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate sourcing tools, and related technologies.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
· Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
· Proficiency in CRM software and sales prospecting tools.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
