At ConnectedGroup, we are supporting an international non-profit organization in the search for a Senior Fundraising Officer/ Assistant Manager (Face-to-face fundraising).

Reporting to their Fundraising Manager and leading a small team, this person will be responsible for leading (also recruiting where needed) a team of street fundraisers. This role combines field leadership, performance management and data reporting, ideal for someone with a strong direct fundraising background who can motivate a team and add value through data management, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day Face-to-face fundraising operations across outdoor, indoor and event venues, including planning locations, coordinating teams and managing logistics
  • Lead the recruitment, induction, training and coaching of a team of face-to-face fundraisers
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs (sign-up rates, average gift, retention, cancellations) and provide regular performance feedback
  • Prepare monthly reports and presentations for senior leadership, including data analysis, insights and recommendations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve donor acquisition and fundraising outcomes
  • Conduct field visits and compliance audits to maintain quality and standards
  • Handle donor complaints and code of conduct issues as the first point of contact
  • Support broader fundraising activities including events, campaigns and admin tasks as needed
  • Communicate programme updates and best practices through regular team meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of Face-to-face or direct fundraising experience, with at least 2 years managing or supervising a team
  • Strong field sales or direct engagement background, someone who has thrived in a street campaigner environment with an NGO organization
  • Confident communicator in both English and Cantonese, written and spoken
  • Comfortable conducting data analysis, report writing, Excel and presentations
  • Strategic thinker who can translate performance data into practical plans
  • Strong motivational and people leadership skills
