A well‑established project home builder is seeking a motivated Pre‑Start Consultant to join their team. This role suits someone who enjoys guiding clients through selections, documentation and the pre‑construction journey — and is open to applicants coming from building suppliers with strong product knowledge and customer‑facing experience.
If you’ve worked in tiles, flooring, cabinetry, windows, plumbing fixtures or similar supplier environments, your skills are highly transferable. Full training on builder systems and processes is provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing client selections across interiors, exteriors, fixtures and finishes
- Running pre‑start appointments and guiding clients through product options and upgrades
- Preparing and finalising documentation, variations and compliance requirements
- Coordinating with estimating, drafting and construction teams to ensure accuracy
- Reviewing plans, specifications and budgets with strong attention to detail
- Maintaining clear and supportive communication throughout pre‑construction
- Minimum 1 year experience in a residential building environment or building supplier role
- Strong product knowledge across materials, finishes and suppliers
- Confident working with clients, building rapport and explaining options
- High attention to detail when reviewing plans, variations and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with accuracy
- Training can be provided for candidates transitioning from supplier backgrounds
- Salary up to $85,000 + super (depending on experience)
