QA Manager – Apparel Quality

Overview

A leading international fashion and apparel buying office is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead its regional quality function across Asia.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance strategies, managing regional QA/QC teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring product quality standards are consistently achieved across global sourcing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned quality professional with strong leadership capabilities, deep apparel expertise, and experience managing multi-country quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage regional QA, QC, and technical teams
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide quality standards, policies, and procedures
  • Drive proactive quality management initiatives to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact production
  • Oversee factory quality systems and ensure compliance with company standards and requirements
  • Conduct supplier performance monitoring and implement corrective action plans where required
  • Lead quality audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement programs
  • Coordinate product testing programs and manage relationships with external testing laboratories
  • Provide technical guidance on garment construction, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Degree or Diploma in Textile, Apparel, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within apparel manufacturing, sourcing, quality assurance, technical, or production functions
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing regional quality teams
  • Strong understanding of apparel quality assurance, inspection, technical, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with apparel brands, retailers, sourcing offices, or trading companies
