The Role
This office based position will see you take ownership of the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function, managing an active domestic ledger with confidence. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity ideal for someone looking to settle into a stable role and grow with the business long-term. Key responsibilities include:
- Daily processing of debtor receipts, bank fees, and allocation of customer deposits
- Monitoring debtor invoices daily and raising credit notes where required
- Raising customer invoices, including intercompany recharges
- Preparing weekly Debtors Reports and generating weekly customer statements, responding to any queries
- Conducting new customer credit applications/reference checks and setting up new customer profiles in the Pronto ERP system
- Maintaining the Customer Masterfile to ensure records are current and accurate
- Customer statement reconciliation of major accounts
- Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments fall within credit limits and terms
- Liaising with internal teams to manage collections and COD releases
- Assisting with month-end reporting and ad hoc finance tasks as required
- Ability to work in the office 5 days per week (8.30am - 5.00pm)
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally including some collections exposure
- Comfort working with ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work confidently under pressure and to SLAs
- A proactive, take-ownership attitude happy to follow structured processes and pitch in wherever needed
- Experience in accounts payable or willingness to x-train
- Foreign currency/FX experience highly regarded, though not essential
