Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems in commercial environments
• Install and support CCTV / IP camera systems
• Pull, route, terminate, and label low voltage cabling
• Install card readers, strikes, mag locks, request-to-exit devices, and related hardware
• Troubleshoot system issues, wiring faults, and device communication problems
• Assist with system testing, programming, and commissioning
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system layouts
• Maintain professional communication with customers and project teams
• Document service work, repairs, and completed installations accurately

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with access control, CCTV, or electronic security systems
• Experience with both service/troubleshooting and installation work
• Basic understanding of low voltage wiring and networking fundamentals
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service mindset
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Basic hand tools and PPE required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with systems such as AMAG, Genetec, Honeywell, Lenel, Avigilon, or Software House
• Experience with Axis or other IP camera platforms
• OSHA, lift, or manufacturer certifications
• Experience working in commercial, healthcare, industrial, or enterprise environments
