We are partnering with a well established and expanding Australian-owned food manufacturer supplying high quality products to major retail and foodservice customers nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Production Manager to take ownership of their primary manufacturing site in Lane Cove.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading and developing supervisors and production teams to achieve daily output targets
  • Driving performance across safety, quality, cost and delivery KPIs
  • Embedding a strong food safety and compliance culture
  • Managing labour planning and workforce efficiency to optimise cost control
  • Overseeing production scheduling to meet customer demand
  • Partnering with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
  • Analysing production data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste
  • Reporting on site performance to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager (or Senior Production Leader ready to step up) within food processing or food packaging
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems
  • Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to manage costs and drive efficiencies
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across departments
