We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and inventory management within a manufacturing environment. This is an office-based position, not a warehouse role, so candidates should present themselves professionally and be comfortable working in a business office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Coordinate and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective action plans.
- Analyze inventory variance reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Process inventory adjustments and substitutions.
- Create and maintain inventory tags and labels.
- Prepare inventory balance reports.
- Utilize barcode scanners/scan guns and ERP systems.
- Provide excellent customer service while collaborating with internal departments.
- Perform additional inventory-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience with inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
- Experience using scan guns/barcode scanners.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel (Pivot Tables preferred), Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
- Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
