Fitter/Welder

A local fabrication company is seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder to join its production team in the Ellwood City area. This role is perfect for a skilled tradesperson with at least three years of welding and blueprint-reading experience who is looking for a long-term role in a stable company. Someone who enjoys precision work and takes pride in high-quality welding would be a great fit. This could also be a good fit for someone coming out of a trade school.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Perform MIG and Stick welding on fabricated components.

  • Fit, assemble, and inspect parts to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain equipment and adhere to safety standards.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of welding/fitting experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.

  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.

  • Familiarity with ASME fabrication standards a plus.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • First shift (7am – 3:30pm)  

  • $20-$27/hr based on experience

  • Temp to hire position  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
