Amplifi Talent are partnering with an accountancy and advisory firm to appoint a Corporate Tax Associate to join its Belfast team.
This is an opportunity for a qualified tax professional to develop their corporate tax experience, working with clients and accounting colleagues to deliver accurate compliance and practical advice.
The successful candidate will support corporate tax returns, advise on liabilities and research technical matters to identify compliance requirements and planning opportunities.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:·
- Review and prepare corporate tax returns for submission to HMRC
- Advise clients on corporation tax liabilities
- Research tax legislation and identify planning opportunities
- Liaise with HMRC on client tax matters
- Collaborate with clients and accounting teams to ensure accurate submissions
The role would suit somebody who enjoys combining technical tax work with client interaction and collaboration across professional teams.
The Person
Key skills and experience are likely to include:
- ACA or CTA qualification
- At least two years’ post-qualification experience within corporate tax
- A proven ability to work with other technical professionals
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and Excel skills
- The ability to present information clearly and concisely
The successful candidate will bring a thorough approach to compliance and the confidence to communicate technical information effectively.
