Amplifi Talent are partnering with an accountancy and advisory firm to appoint a Tax Advisory Senior to join its Belfast team.
This represents an opportunity for a qualified tax professional with mixed tax and M&A experience to contribute to a varied portfolio of advisory work.
The successful candidate will support the delivery and implementation of corporate tax planning and M&A transactions, with involvement in estate planning depending on experience.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- Support the delivery and implementation of corporate tax planning
- Contribute to M&A transactions
- Assist with estate planning and implementation, depending on experience
- Identify tax planning opportunities for clients
- Communicate with HMRC as required
- Collaborate with tax and accounting colleagues to coordinate advisory and compliance work
The role would suit a technically strong tax professional who enjoys working collaboratively on planning and transaction-related matters.
The Person
Key skills and experience are likely to include:
- CTA qualification
- At least three years’ post-qualification experience in a mixed tax role within a mid-tier firm
- Experience of M&A work
- A proven ability to work with other technical professionals
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and Excel skills
- The ability to summarise technical information clearly and concisely
The successful candidate will combine technical capability with a practical approach to delivering advice and maintaining effective professional relationships.
