Forklift Operator / Shipping & Receiving

Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support daily shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring all shipments are processed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation using computerized inventory systems.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered equipment.
• Route materials to stock, inspection, or designated storage locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts as needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
