Senior Hardware Designer

Christy Media Solutions is working with an internationally recognised technology company that develops mission-critical video networking and visual collaboration solutions used by organisations around the world.

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Designer with strong experience in embedded hardware development, high-speed digital circuit design and FPGA/CPLD technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop board-level hardware designs using proven technologies
• Support architecture definition and hardware documentation
• Create and maintain register maps and design documentation
• Review and approve PCB layouts with a focus on EMC performance
• Work closely with PCB layout teams throughout the design process
• Develop FPGA/CPLD logic using VHDL and simulation tools
• Validate and debug prototypes using laboratory test equipment
• Support signal integrity and EMC simulation activities
• Assist with EMI, ESD and environmental testing
• Evaluate new technologies and design trade-offs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Hardware Development, Hardware Design or Electrical Engineering
• Experience designing high-speed digital circuits and embedded systems
• FPGA/CPLD development experience
• Experience with Signal Integrity and EMC simulations
• Experience using PADS Pro, OrCAD or Altium
• Strong communication skills in French and English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within design teams

Desirable Experience

• Audio/Video hardware development or instrumentation experience
