Position Details

• Pay: $20–$26/hour DOE
• Travel Assignment: Out of town Monday through Friday (next week).
• Per Diem Provided
• Hotel Room Paid For
• Mileage Reimbursement
• Schedule: 8–12 hours per day
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Full PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots)

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure Cat6 and Cat6A cabling.
• Terminate cables at patch panels.
• Install and terminate data jacks, keystone inserts, and wall plates.
• Test and verify cable installations to ensure quality and performance.
• Read and interpret low-voltage drawings and cable layouts.
• Work safely on ladders and lifts while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
• Support additional structured cabling and low-voltage tasks as needed.
• Fusion fiber splicing experience is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling.
• Experience terminating patch panels and installing jacks and faceplates.
• Working knowledge of telecom and data network infrastructure.
• Fusion fiber splicing experience is a plus.
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.
• Must have basic hand tools, full PPE, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to the project site and work 8–12-hour shifts.
