Apply directWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Operative to join a busy logistics and distribution team. This role is responsible for ensuring products are accurately packed, labelled, checked, and prepared for dispatch in line with customer requirements and company standards.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting both UK and export orders, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure products are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare products for dispatch in accordance with customer specifications and company procedures
- Ensure all goods are accurately labelled and checked prior to shipment
- Build pallets and prepare orders for both UK and export customers
- Create delivery notes, manifests, and courier collections using internal systems
- Maintain accurate traceability records and daily production data
- Support shipping activities and assist with export documentation requirements
- Liaise with drivers and assist with the safe loading and unloading of deliveries
- Carry out manual handling duties safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality, and health and safety
- Report any quality, safety, or operational issues to management
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Flexible approach to overtime and shift requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties safely
Experience with shipping documentation, courier systems, stock control, or export processes would be advantageous.
