We are partnering with one of Australia's largest and most respected agribusiness and food production organisations to appoint a Senior Operations Analyst. This is a highly visible role supporting executive leaders, finance and operational teams across a complex, vertically integrated business.
Unlike traditional finance or reporting roles, this position sits close to the operation itself. You will spend time understanding production processes, analysing operational performance, identifying key cost and revenue drivers, and helping leaders make better commercial decisions.

The Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, responsibilities include:
- Analysing production, yield, cost and operational performance across multiple business units
- Preparing weekly and monthly performance reporting and business insights
- Developing financial models, forecasts and operational performance analysis
- Partnering closely with operational managers to understand performance drivers and improvement opportunities
- Supporting revenue optimisation through analysis of production and cost outcomes
- Building and enhancing Power BI reporting and dashboards
- Working with large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Supporting strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing meaningful analysis that influences operational and executive decision-making

- Production or Processing Environments
- Experience in operational analysis, business analysis, commercial finance or performance reporting
- Strong understanding of operational KPIs, cost drivers and business performance
- Advanced Excel capability
- Experience using Power BI and reporting tools
- Exposure to SQL, data analytics or automation tools will be highly regarded
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence operational leaders
- Genuine curiosity around how businesses operate and create value
