Seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Drafter to join a specialist building services consultancy on an initial 1-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project requirements. You'll be joining a busy team delivering commercial building projects and providing drafting support across multiple disciplines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running and is available to start immediately or at short notice.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:
  • Producing detailed electrical services drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Preparing lighting, power, communications, security and electrical services layouts.
  • Assisting engineers with construction documentation and design updates.
  • Coordinating drawings with mechanical, hydraulic, fire and architectural teams.
  • Revising drawings based on design changes and site feedback.
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed to Australian standards.
  • Supporting multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
About You
  • Previous experience as an Electrical CAD Drafter within a building services consultancy.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills are essential.
  • Experience producing electrical building services documentation for commercial projects.
  • Ability to interpret engineering mark-ups and produce accurate technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of Australian drafting standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Available to commence immediately or at short notice.
  • Experience working on commercial offices, workplace fit-outs, education, healthcare or mixed-use developments.
