Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise warehouse personnel and oversee daily workflow operations.
- Participate in interviewing candidates and making hiring recommendations.
- Plan, schedule, assign, and monitor employee work activities.
- Train staff on operational procedures, safety standards, and work methods.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide recommendations regarding disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to optimize operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
- Serve as a safety leader by promoting and enforcing workplace safety programs and procedures.
- Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics supervision.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping documentation.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices.
- Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
