The Lucas Group are looking for competent Machinery Operators to join our client, a large well-run mixed farming business operating 1800ha cereal cropping and 12 centre pivot irrigators in the Bordertown region. You will work with the company agronomists across broadacre crops, potatoes and onions, using modern machinery and supporting day-to-day cropping operations.

What You’ll Do
- Operate precision ag equipment, tractors, spray equipment and machinery
- Undertake seeding, spraying, fertilising and harvest activities.
- Run and maintain centre pivot irrigation systems.
- Complete daily machinery checks, minor servicing and accurate records.
- Assist with general farm duties and follow all WHS procedures.
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant Cert II, Cert III, plus at least one year of relevant experience, or alternatively at least 2 years full time work experience in a similar field
- Current driver’s licence and the ability to drive manual
- ChemCert qualifications (preferred)
- Experience operating modern broadacre or horticultural machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Irrigation experience (centre pivots ideal).
- Strong communication, reliability and attention to detail.
