SW Project Lead

About the Role:

As a SW Project Lead, you are responsible for successfully running the Software part of the Telematic Projects and ensure project deliveries in time, budget and quality.

You are the face to the customer for all SW topics. You are orchestrating the virtual, cross functional, global SW project team.

R&R:

• Deliver next-generation Telematic Units to the customer.
• Act as / Be the face to the customer for all SW related topics.
• Orchestrate virtual, cross functional, global project teams.
• Plan, monitor, control and track the software project to achieve the goals with respect to schedule, effort, product quality and process quality in a timely manner.
• Represent the program internally and externally to senior management

Requirements

• University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science) 
• Over 10 years automotive experience
• Fluent Japanese (Level 2) and Business English.
• Expert knowledge in project management and coordination in a globally distributed development environment (Waterfall, Agile).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Global mindset, teamwork in a multi-location team, enterprise approach.
• Ability to understand complex systems, to break down and structure into reasonable parts so dependencies become visible, describable, and thus manageable.
• Proven and effective communication, analytical, judgment, initiative, and execution skills.
• Team management with 10+ people directly or indirectly.
• Advantage:
