Position Name: Vehicle Testing and Validation(VTV) Engineer
Job Location: Yokohama, Japan

Key responsibilities:
• Validation of complex vehicle connection systems that support Active Safety products (radars, cameras, and controllers)

• Defining and optimizing validation plans by selection of relevant requirements and test methods

• Preparing and testing of products in compliance with customer requirements/international standards

• Creating and verifying the test protocols and test reports • Reporting the tests results and status of assigned projects

• Development, implementation and modification of test methods according to customer requirements

• Identification of new requirements or key product characteristics in order to anticipate readiness of suitable equipment, methods and competencies in the laboratory

• Conducting root cause analysis and developing problem solving solutions

• Controlling technical documentation, test records and testing equipment

• Represent the interface to JOEM customer in respect of validation activities

• Escalate new and unresolved technical issues to the Technical Manager

• Build and maintain networks with Global validation team and other key stakeholders

Requirements

Requirements: 

•Master’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s degree with relevant years of experience

• Product Validation Process knowledge (must)

• Proficiency on technical reporting and summary 

• Customer contact experience • Good English & Japanese communication skill

• Self-driven and strong passion in achieving results. Highly accountable for the actions and act as owner

• Good planning and organization skills

• Honesty in relation with company, clients and co-operators
