Scope 
Responsible for managing Customer projects, from first technical discussions, through the quote and nomination process and throughout the product lifecycle
This position will carry a liaison role mainly to US customers 


Tasks
Management of Customer projects related to eHorizon and roadDB
Support creating respective system requirements based on Customer requirements including traceability
Drive the technical analysis and response as well as effort estimates for RFIs and RFQs / Quotations
Product presentations at Customers, Trade Shows and Business opportunities
Work closely together with Product Management, HW and SW development as well as System engineers for the definition, realization and integration of the system.
Leading related project teams during the product life cycle (PLC)
Manage and discuss Change requests internally and with Customers and Suppliers
Support system tests and test cases definition
Support Functional Safety Management
Collaboration with KAMs, BUs, Sales and System Engineering to align on recommendations and respective road maps 
Role will be located in Troy office with regular business travel in support of customer related activities

Requirements

Specific Knowledge/Skills
Study of electrical engineering, software, computer science, informatics, or similar qualification 
Business experience in a similar position in Project Management
Ability to run projects/tasks independently / to take initiative / to set priorities
Experience in Project Management tools, methodology and processes
Ability to work on complex systems and to develop a system understanding 
Excellent teaming and motivation skills
Ability to manage an international project team 
Language: English 
PC knowledge (Windows; Email; Word; PowerPoint; Excel, Lotus Notes)
Ability to travel
Intercultural competency
Excellent manners towards customers, visitors, supervisors and employees 
Automotive experience beneficial
Knowledge in DOORS, SAP / R3, handling of data bases beneficial
Conceptional knowledge in ISO 26262 and ASIL levels beneficial
