People & Culture Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the CSO and partnering closely with executive leadership, this People & Culture Manager role offers the opportunity to shape how people, leadership and ways of working are experienced across the organisation. You will lead a small team, guide key people initiatives and act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business. This role suits an experienced People & Culture leader who brings credibility, emotional intelligence and sound judgement, and who can influence outcomes through thoughtful guidance and strong relationships.
  
DUTIES

• Lead and implement a practical people and culture strategy aligned to organisational priorities
• Drive cultural improvement initiatives across professional and specialist teams
• Partner with senior leaders on change management, restructures and workforce planning
• Manage complex employee relations matters with empathy, confidence and discretion
• Build people leadership capability across the organisation
• Lead, coach and develop a People & Culture team of three direct reports
• Oversee HR operations, compliance, risk and governance activities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Organisational Psychology, Business or similar
• Proven experience in a senior HR or People & Culture leadership role
• Strong background in employee relations, restructures and organisational change
• High emotional intelligence with a thoughtful, balanced and pragmatic HR style
• Experience supporting leaders to become effective people managers
• Background in not-for-profit, purpose-led or complex environments (advantageous)
