Apply directThe Production Technician is an essential and versatile member of the Company's manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality validation of advanced fuel cell systems and related components. The ideal candidate has experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing, a strong commitment to quality, and excellent attention to detail. This position requires a safety-first mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment to meet manufacturing goals.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of electro-mechanical subassemblies, components, and finished products according to established work instructions and quality standards.
- Read, interpret, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Safely operate manual hand tools and power tools to complete assembly and testing tasks.
- Operate material handling equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify and resolve issues with systems, subassemblies, and components during the manufacturing process.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA standards and Company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to support production objectives.
- Accurately complete manufacturing documentation, quality records, and production reports.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all workplace interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience; electro-mechanical assembly experience is preferred.
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work overtime and maintain a flexible schedule based on production demands.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately complete electronic transactions and production documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods while performing job duties.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
