MS D365 Business Central Consultant (Senior or Principal) | Auckland

We're partnering with a highly regarded technology consultancy that continues to invest heavily in its Microsoft practice. Due to sustained growth, they are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central specialist to join the team in either a permanent or contract capacity.

About the role
This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll work closely with organisations to understand business challenges, design fit-for-purpose solutions, and lead successful ERP transformation initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, contribute to pre-sales activity, and play a key role in delivering outcomes that create real business value. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading Business Central discovery, design and implementation engagements
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and project sponsors
• Delivering solution architecture and functional consulting expertise across the Business Central suite
• Supporting business development and pre-sales activities
• Mentoring consultants and contributing to practice growth
• Identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance customer outcomes

You'll be a seasoned Business Central consultant who combines strong functional expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
• Strong consulting experience within a professional services or client-facing environment
• Deep knowledge across Finance, Inventory, Projects, Warehousing, Distribution, Manufacturing and Reporting modules
• Proven experience leading workshops, gathering requirements and designing end-to-end solutions
• The ability to engage confidently with senior business stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
