• Coordinates activities of Electronic Architecture team (CDE, CSA, Validation, Tuning, …) on electric/electronic (E/E) components & controlled system architecture as Core team member.
• Guarantees compliance of components and systems to specifications.
• Provides alternative solutions to meet cost targets and attractive innovative solutions to customer.
• Takes in charge of other pre-developments for OEM and Supports R&D projects needs in his/her field of expertise.
Responsibilities & Activities:
Responsibility 1 : Program responsibilities
• Writes the technical requirements for controlling & diagnosing the components addressed to the OEM &/or to the supplier, conducts design reviews on Controlled System Architecture and E/E control units and guarantees compliance of parts and systems to the customer specifications
• Insures delivery of E/E components documentation to the project team (drawings, BOM, DFMEA, DVP, test reports, control plans, corresponding presentations, other INPRO deliverables), including manufacturability and system E/E Pin-Out for all prototype & production levels, and coordinates with Wire Harness CDE & Electronic Validation Engineer.
• Provides alternative solutions to meet cost targets and attractive innovative solutions, and goes further by proposing VA/VE ideas and cost savings.
Responsibility 2 : Technical expertise
• Provides feedback from field experience to SCR team members, synergies, Research and Development projects regarding sensors, actuators and Control System development for all POCES product lines
• Support Tech Days related to Control System.
• Participate to benchmark activities in order to analyze competitor's solutions directly in Asia.
Responsibility 3 : Continuous improvement
• Actively participates to continuous improvement activities by using and developing Development tools. (lessons learnt, 8D, VAVE, Design to cost, …)
• Contributes to Requirement Management Methodology development.
Requirements
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
Personal Background
• Engineering degree (electromechanical, electronics, Automation) or equivalent.
• 8 years experiences in automotive industry, ideally with research or develop bvment experience in Electronic Control units.
• Demonstrated experience in architecture of automotive controlled systems.
Job Technical skills
• Proven knowledge and use Japanese OEMs (Focus on Toyota and Honda) Electric/Electronic norms.
• Knowledge of OBDI, OBDII & EOBD requirements.
• Use of DOORS, Vector/Etas tools is a plus.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Job Soft skills
• Excellent aptitude as regards project coordination, communication and customer management.
• English: professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Japanese: Native level.
