THE ROLE:

As a Tekla Detailer, you'll be responsible for producing accurate fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel projects, while working closely with project managers, engineers and production teams.

  • Produce detailed steel fabrication and erection drawings using Tekla Structures
  • Create GA drawings, connection details and material schedules
  • Coordinate with engineers, fabricators and project teams throughout project delivery
  • Review design information and identify potential issues before fabrication
  • Support production teams with technical information and drawing updates
  • Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards
  • Manage revisions and maintain drawing records
  • Assist with project coordination from design through to manufacture

THE PERSON:

This role will suit a Tekla Detailer, Steel Detailer, CAD Technician or Structural Technician with experience in structural steel projects. Candidates who have experience within fabrication, steelwork or construction environments will be particularly well suited.

  • Experience using Tekla Structures
  • Background in steel detailing, structural steel or fabrication projects
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings
  • Good understanding of steel fabrication and installation processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience liaising with engineers, fabrication teams and project managers
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, CAD, Construction or a related discipline is advantageous
  • Good communication and organisational skills

LOCATION:
