Branch Manager - Builders Providers & Trade Supplies (D.12)
Are you a driven, commercially sharp leader ready to take full ownership of a thriving branch?
Key Areas of Responsibility:

Drive sales and margin improvements across all customer segments (Trade, DIY, and Retail).

Build and nurture strong relationships with local customers, suppliers, and external sales representatives.

Manage pricing structures, optimize margins, and proactively seek opportunities to expand our product footprint in the local market.

Create an enthusiastic, customer-focused team culture through daily coaching, performance management, and clear direction.

Foster high staff engagement and support succession planning through continuous learning and development.

Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed flawlessly.

Overlook fleet management, transport, and haulage to ensure efficient, safe, and on-time customer deliveries.

Maintain optimum stock levels, minimize stock shrinkage/leakage, and lead accurate stock takes.

Manage the branch budget (P&L), control overheads, and coordinate with credit control on debt collection.

Take ultimate accountability for the health, safety, and well-being of all staff and visitors on-site.
Requirements

A strong, proven background in building materials/construction trade or related retail background.

An experienced manager who knows how to unite yard, sales, and administrative teams toward common goals.

Strong experience managing budgets, analyzing sales/margin data, and making proactive, profitable business decisions.

Natural ability to negotiate, solve problems on the spot, and communicate with clarity and diplomacy.
