HSEQ Lead – Sydney & NSW
$170K + Super + Company Car | Approx. $210K Package

We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Lead to oversee HSEQ performance across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW.

This is a senior leadership role where you will lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors while partnering with Project Managers and senior leaders to drive HSEQ performance, culture and continuous improvement.
The Role
  • Lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors across NSW
  • Drive HSEQ, risk, quality and environmental performance across projects
  • Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations
  • Identify trends and implement targeted improvement initiatives
  • Support compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
  • Partner with project teams and senior management to drive positive safety culture
  • Provide guidance across risk assessments, SWMS, HSEQ plans and tenders
  • Travel across Sydney, Wollongong and regional NSW as required
About You
  • Previous experience in an HSEQ leadership role within construction, remediation or a high-risk environment
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, compliance and management systems
  • Strong risk management and audit experience
  • Proven ability to lead, influence and drive change
  • Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Willingness to travel throughout NSW
Highly regarded: Tier 1 - 2 construction, multistorey/CBD, remediation, fuel, concrete/steel remediation, Defence and OFSC experience.
