The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Foreman to oversee the night-time delivery of construction and refurbishment works across Sydney Airport.
With much of the work required to take place outside peak operational hours, you will take ownership of site activities overnight, coordinating subcontractors, managing safety and quality, and ensuring works are completed within strict possession and handback requirements.
You'll work closely with an experienced Project Manager and wider delivery team, with the full support and systems of an established contractor behind you.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all night-time construction activities across airport projects
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades, deliveries and site logistics
- Driving short-term programs and ensuring works are completed within critical timeframes
- Managing works within a live, highly regulated airport environment
- Maintaining strict QA and finish standards across all trade packages
- Conducting pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inspections
- Ensuring HSEQ, security and airport operational requirements are maintained at all times
- Coordinating with the day team to ensure clear handovers and continuity of works
- Resolving site and buildability issues quickly to maintain program
- Trade background in carpentry or a relevant construction discipline
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor within commercial construction
- Previous aviation or Australian airport project experience highly regarded
- Comfortable working permanent or predominantly night shifts
- Strong subcontractor management and coordination capability
- Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, quality and safety
- Calm, organised and capable of making decisions independently on site
- Salary package up to $200,000, depending on experience
