- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Compile tax returns (corporate tax and consumption tax)
- Audit support (internal and tax audits)
- Lead business improvement activities by reviewing workflow
- Liaise with overseas group finance staff
- Contribute to global reporting and business improvement
- Respond to various inquiries from internal Responding to various inquiries from within the company
Location: Site with hybrid / work from home system possible
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Experience in accounting and finance at a general business company (preferably a manufacturer)
- Experience in domestic taxation (international taxation experience is a plus)
- USCPA/JCPA/Nissho Bookkeeping Certification Level 1
- Native-level Japanese
- English skills (speaking + reading and writing) *Daily conversation level
- JPCA is a big advantage
