About the Company:

Role:

• This role will provides an opportunity to work on major global international telematics projects on innovative technologies, such as 5G and the next generation of remote car services.
• A chance to gain global skills in team management and telematics systems deployment.
• Support the development of telematics units, including network telecommunications, navigation, positioning and information technology to increase driving comfort and traffic safety.

Responsibilities:

• Integrates various software components and builds an executable software in close collaboration with the SW Dev Team.
• Checks that the software components have the correct version, life cycle state, quality standard and expected qualifications for the modules provided.
• Checks interfaces between software components prior to integration.
• Resolves build run time errors.
• Opens tickets for any deviation or issue found.
• Performs software configuration management tasks according to SwConfigMgmtPlan (SCMP).
• Checks that the build acceptance test is available in time for each integration.
• Provide R&D support to other sites.
• Perform deep technical analysis of reported issues (reproduction, profiling, debugging, traces analysis etc.)
• Close coordination with CTA S&W Development centers (Germany, China, Cairo)
• Technical reviews and issues analysis
• Support preparing technical documentation for issue reports to customers
• Support on Software Release notes

Requirements

Previous Experience:

• 3 years in embedded product development
• Work experience within build process and configuration management
• Knowledge or development experience with embedded Software, V-model, Automotive Spice or Telematic systems are desirable.

Professional Skills:

Required:

• Knowledge of Linux basics (shell command, folder structure, shell script)
• Knowledge of C++
• Knowledge of embedded software and systems as well as knowledge of the build and development tools used
• Excellent knowledge of the build process and in configuration management
• Knowledge of CANoe or other communication tool.

Welcome:

• Knowledge of Linux Yocto project
• Knowledge of basic Git command
• Knowledge of problem resolution management tools (e.g TeamForge)
• Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE)

Education:

• Engineering degree in software, computer science or equivalent work experience

Language:

• Mandatory fluent in English
• Appreciated fluent in Japanese

Other:

• Overseas business travel required by development situations and for technical training.
