R&D Manager

Responsibility :
Customer interface and Technical Development Plan contribution

• Based on the highlights of the project scope, contribute to the construction of the TDP(s) around components, products, systems, integrating customer trends and drivers
• Manage the customer Intimacy with regular meeting.
• Support the technical communications and marketing actions (ex.: Tech exhibition, multi-medias)

Product development

• Implement Standardization strategy, escalate Lessons Learned to improve the Standards
• In charge of the robust design in line with Industrial network for manufacturability
• Implement continuous improvement methodologies and IT tools necessary to the developments
• Responsible for global product life time

Team & Budget Management

• Build Product expertise, define competence matrix and corresponding training plan
• Manage team resources across projects
• In charge of R&D efficiency improvements
• In charge of R&D Budget

Requirements

Must required

• Engineering Degree
• 18 to 28 year experience in R&D development activities
• Having experience of design, development and drawing creation by themselves in Exterior, Interior and Body components in about 15 years.
• Having experience of team management in 3 years or more.
• Able to negotiate and coordinate with multinational people from various departments inside and outside the company.
• Japanese; Native level
• English; TOEIC 600+ or equivalent

• Having experience of structure simulation such as FEM.
• Having experience of Tool design or Process design, equivalent knowledge or collaboration.
