As the Director, Investor Relations, you will spearhead the Group's global investor relations framework and serve as a core strategic advisor to the C-suite and Board of Directors. You will drive transparent, value-focused engagement across international capital markets while translating high-level market intelligence into actionable business strategy.
This role demands an accomplished leader with deep capital markets authority, high-level financial acumen, compelling executive presence, and a proven track record of driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic IR & Department Leadership

Strategy & Narrative: Formulate and execute the Group’s multi-year IR strategy, evolving the core equity narrative to maximize long-term market valuation.

Executive Partnership: Advise the CEO, CFO, and VP of IR & Corporate Communications on capital markets positioning, competitive landscape, and strategic disclosures.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and build high-performing IR professionals, instilling operational excellence and ownership across all deliverables.
2. Financial Reporting, Disclosure & Governance

Earnings Excellence: Direct the end-to-end production of all interim and annual disclosures, including investor decks, earnings scripts, strategic Q&As, and digital IR platforms.

Market Events: Lead preparation and presentation strategy for earnings calls, analyst briefings, and major investor forums.

Regulatory Rigor: Guarantee strict compliance with HKEX Listing Rules, financial reporting standards, and governance protocols across all corporate communications.
3. Capital Markets Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement

Investor Relations Management: Cultivate and expand deep relationships with institutional fund managers, sell-side research analysts, ESG managers, and credit rating agencies.

Global Targeting: Design and execute global roadshows, site visits, and flagship Capital Markets Days to expand and diversify the international shareholder register.

Company Spokesperson: Serve as a trusted, primary representative for the Group in high-stakes meetings with the global investment community.
4. Market Intelligence & Board Advisory

Market Surveillance: Oversee surveillance of shareholder register movements, trading patterns, market consensus, and peer group performance.

Strategic Insights: Synthesize market sentiment, macroeconomic trends, and valuation drivers into high-impact recommendations for executive leadership and the Board.
5. ESG Integration & Corporate Governance

Sustainability Messaging: Drive external messaging and positioning around ESG performance, carbon reduction targets, and responsible supply chain practices.

Rating Agency Strategy: Manage proactive outreach to key ESG rating bodies and sustainability-focused investment funds to enhance corporate governance ratings.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

Qualification: MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional credentials.

Experience: 15+ years of progressive capital markets experience, featuring proven investor-facing leadership within large-cap HKEX-listed corporations or top-tier sell-side financial institutions.

Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of global equity markets, valuation models, financial structuring, and HKEX Listing Rules & compliance standards.

Languages: Full fluency in English, with native or professional proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.

Travel: Willingness and availability for frequent regional and international business travel.
