Für einen unserer Großkunden suchen wir derzeiteine Unterstützung, die die nachfolgenden Anforderungen erfüllt:

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Beratung zu Best Practices im Bereich Monitoring
  • Aufbau, Design und Weiterentwicklung von Monitoring Setups mit Icinga
  • Entwicklung und Anpassung von Checks und Templates
  • Integration von Standard und Custom Plugins in Icinga
  • Erarbeitung von Alerting Strategien zur Reduzierung von Fehlalarmen und unnötigem Rauschen
  • Definition von KPIs und Metriken, zum Beispiel Availability und Performance
  • Konzeption von Service und Infrastructure Monitoring Ansätzen
  • Monitoring von Fortinet Komponenten wie FortiGate, FortiManager und FortiAnalyzer
  • Analyse monitoringrelevanter Fortinet Use Cases, zum Beispiel CPU, Sessions, VPN, IDS und IPS
  • Einbindung von Datenquellen über SNMP, REST APIs, Syslog und Fortinet APIs
  • Troubleshooting auf Betriebssystem und Service Ebene

Dein Profil:

  • Sehr tiefe Expertise in Icinga und Icinga2
  • Erfahrung mit Icinga Core, Icinga Director und idealerweise Icinga Web
  • Fundierte Erfahrung im Aufbau und Design professioneller Monitoring Umgebungen
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung und Anpassung von Icinga Checks und Templates
  • Erfahrung in der Integration von Custom und Standard Plugins
  • Gute Kenntnisse in Monitoring Best Practices, Alerting Strategien und Threshold Definitionen
  • Erfahrung in der Definition von KPIs und Metriken für Availability und Performance
  • Operatives Know how im Fortinet Umfeld, insbesondere FortiGate, FortiManager und FortiAnalyzer
  • Verständnis von Firewall Metriken, Logs und Security relevanten Monitoring Use Cases
  • Erfahrung mit SNMP, REST APIs, Syslog und MIBs, idealerweise Fortinet MIBs
  • Gute Kenntnisse in Bash und Python zur Entwicklung von Icinga Plugins
  • Gute Linux Kenntnisse sowie Erfahrung im Troubleshooting auf OS und Service Ebene
