About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team. The purpose of this role is to prepare, move, and manage goods while providing efficient service to all transport providers and customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
This role requires a hands-on individual with strong warehouse experience, a current forklift licence with forklift operating experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily forklift pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and quality requirements.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Follow warehouse procedures for the storage and handling of goods.
• Record all incoming stock information and document any damaged goods received.
• Generate and apply labels accurately to the correct pallets.
• Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

 
Skills & Experience
Essential

• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to perform physical work, including manual handling tasks.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (desirable)
