We are partnering with a leading superannuation fund seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join its technology and delivery function, playing a key role in embedding security across ongoing transformation and delivery initiatives.
In this role, you will work closely with project, architecture, and engineering teams to assess solution designs, identify security risks, and ensure the right security controls are defined and implemented throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage within technology and delivery teams to review and assess solution designs
• Identify appropriate security controls aligned to architecture and risk requirements
• Determine gaps in security capability across delivery teams and support uplift activities
• Provide security guidance across cloud, application, infrastructure and integration solutions
• Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure secure-by-design principles are applied
• Support remediation planning and ensure security controls are effectively implemented
• Contribute to uplift of security standards, patterns and reusable design principles
• Assist in aligning solutions with APRA and internal security frameworks
Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in Cyber Security Architecture or Senior Security Engineering roles
• Strong background in assessing solution designs and embedding security into delivery
• Experience within superannuation, financial services or regulated environments
• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, network security and application security
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 or CIS
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical delivery teams
