Business Intelligence - Analyst

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys translating business needs into meaningful reporting and insights — someone who can bridge the gap between data, technology, and business decision-making.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver fit-for-purpose reporting solutions, improve visibility of key metrics, and support data-driven decision making across the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Gather and translate business requirements into reporting and dashboard solutions
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports across Power BI and Tableau
• Deliver actionable insights and data storytelling to support strategic decisions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational and business context
• Support reporting governance, QA, testing, and documentation processes
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting capability and business visibility
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and insights requests across the organisation
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of BI and reporting capability

What we’re looking for...

You’ll likely come from a Business Intelligence Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Insights Analyst background and enjoy working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong experience building reports and dashboards
• Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• The ability to turn business problems into meaningful reporting solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• A business-focused mindset rather than purely technical/data engineering experience
• Experience presenting insights in a clear and engaging way
• A proactive and adaptable approach within a collaborative environment

Nice to have:

• Experience across both Tableau and Power BI
• Exposure to public sector or enterprise environments
• Understanding of data governance and reporting best practices
• Experience working within evolving or growing BI environments
