The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end payroll and Accounts operations across a complex workforce environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing end-to-end payroll accurately and on time (Fortnightly ,up to 150-200 employees)
- Interpreting and applying the SCHADS Award confidently and accurately (non-negotiable)
- Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
- Processing leave, timesheets, terminations, adjustments and superannuation
- Supporting payroll compliance and reporting requirements
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and process improvements
- Working closely with finance and HR teams during a busy operational period
- Assist with AP & AR duties
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing and operational accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience with the SCHADS Award
- Exposure to not-for-profit, healthcare, community services or disability sectors highly regarded
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to start immediately or at short notice
- A proactive, team-oriented and adaptable approach
