Join the President's Cabinet and provide strategic leadership for the College's operational functions, including Business Services (Purchasing, Print & Mail Services), Campus Safety, Information Technology, Facilities Planning, and Plant Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee college operations in compliance with ICCB, state, and federal regulations.
- Direct IT, facilities, and campus infrastructure to support academic and administrative needs.
- Manage physical plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Review, execute, and serve as signatory for campus-wide contracts.
- Collaborate with the President's Cabinet on strategic planning, performance goals, financial health, and college effectiveness.
- Represent the College with community groups, state organizations, and labor relations activities as needed.
- Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to lead complex operational initiatives with minimal supervision while fostering a positive work environment and supporting student success.
- Master's degree in a business, public administration, or related discipline that’s relative to the position.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in higher education, government or private sector or in a leadership role or as the immediate subordinate in one of the supervised areas.
- Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in higher education, government or private sector.
- Understanding of principles, practices, methods, and terminology related to the various craft areas involved in IT Systems, building and facility construction, and maintenance and repair.
- Hands-on experience with various office and financial computer applications.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the College’s core values.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years managing facilities, construction and operations areas in a large complex public organization.
- Knowledge and commitment to the community college concept.
- Proven record as a leader and manager who can provide strategic and creative direction while balancing the resources and funding requirements necessary to achieve strategic goals.
- Demonstrated record of leadership and experience in problem solving in a complex organization.
- Proven ability to effectively and accurately communicate, orally and in writing, complex concepts and information to a general audience.
$140,000-$150,000 Annual Salary
Benefits include the following:
- Medical Insurance is administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. There are two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans and one Health Savings Account (HSA) plan from which to choose. These plans include a vision discount at no additional cost. All plans have a working spouse carve-out provision. The effective date of coverage is the first of the month following date of hire.
- Dental, Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident and Vision Insurance plans are administered by Guardian Insurance. The dental plan also has a working spouse carve-out provision. The effective date of coverage for these benefits is the first of the month following date of hire.
- Retirement Savings Plans – we offer participation in 403b and 457b plans.
