Wet Painter / Metal Finisher (2 Openings)
1st Shift | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Flexible Schedule

Our client is looking to hire two team members ASAP, with a strong preference for hiring at least one experienced Wet Painter. They would ideally like two experienced painters but are willing to train the right candidate with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. An experienced or semi-retired painter interested in mentoring others would also be a great fit.

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Pay:
  • Experienced Wet Painter: $25-$30/hour
  • Experienced Metal Finisher: $21-$25/hour
  • Entry-Level/Trainable: Starting around $18/hour

Position Overview:
The Finishing Department completes all finishing operations on precision-machined aluminum parts, including deburring, sanding, polishing, washing, painting, inspecting, and packaging. This is a quality-focused environment where craftsmanship is valued over production speed.

Wet Painter Responsibilities (Primary Need):
  • Prepare and mask parts
  • Apply coatings using a spray gun in a paint booth and aerosol spray paint
  • Unmask and inspect finished parts
  • Maintain high-quality paint finishes
Painting accounts for approximately 25% of the role, with the remaining time spent supporting finishing operations.

Metal Finisher Responsibilities:
  • Deburr, sand, and polish aluminum parts
  • Wash and clean components
  • Perform quality inspections
  • Package and inspect parts before and after outside processing
Preferred:
  • Wet painting experience
  • Metal finishing or manufacturing experience
  • Deburring, sanding, polishing, or quality inspection experience
Will Consider:
