Platform Manager

As manager of the Program in serial life, he/she is responsible for the achievement of the Program improvement actions in terms of Quality and Profitability from handover to production site to end of life. Therefore he/she needs to get an overview of the Program Quality and Profitability results. The Platform Manager can manage several programs.

The technical responsibilities are:

• Ensure the necessary resources are provided in due time from the different functions (Sales, Controlling, Costing, Plant Purchasing, Quality, Product & Process Engineering...)
• Manage serial life program performance through indicators (Customer PPM, Scrap, Operating Margin...)
• Initiate in strong relationship with the Operations and Manage convergence plan to achieve the targets
• Cascade Program objectives on to the functions
• Act as official Program representative towards the customer
• Apply Engineering Change Management process,
• Ensure a permanent reservoir of productivity ideas,
• Ensure program documentation organization for data continuity between customers, suppliers, R&D centres and Plants,
• Organize communication throughout the program life including confidentiality management,
• Ensure that the functions use the company standard tools
• Ensure the compliance of Programs with Customer Quality systems, HSE, Safety and Regulation standards

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering or in business administration
• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in design & Development or in Industrial Operations in Automotive sector
• Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, design of experiment, functional analysis)
• Leadership skills
• English and Japanese required
