Overview:
Are you a seasoned IT Asset Management professional looking to lead transformative initiatives in a dynamic enterprise environment? We’re seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Manager to drive a critical security and technology modernization project. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing asset visibility, streamlining vulnerability management, and strengthening remediation processes amid a major IT/security overhaul. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on enterprise security posture and operational efficiency, working with a collaborative team dedicated to innovation and excellence.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, IT Operations, or related fields
- Proven success implementing or managing enterprise ITAM, CMDB, or Configuration Management programs
- Hands-on experience with ITAM/SAM tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Lansweeper, Flexera, Snow Software, or ManageEngine
- Strong understanding of hardware/software asset lifecycle management
- Familiarity with CMDB concepts, ITIL practices, and asset governance
- Experience supporting enterprise environments at scale with operational maturity
- Knowledge of vulnerability management, security operations, or compliance programs is preferred
- Technical proficiency in inventory management, reporting, dashboards, and asset lifecycle processes
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts related to vulnerability remediation and risk management
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with soft skills such as consulting, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization
- Certifications such as CITAM, IAITAM, ITIL Foundation, or CSAM
- Exposure to automation tools and scripting for process improvements
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in enterprise IT Asset Management or related fields
Other Requirements:
- Location: Preference for candidates local to Waltham; open to 100% remote arrangements
- Duration: 6-8 months, with possibility of extension
- Hours: 40 hours/week; no on-call responsibilities
- Availability to start ASAP
- Willingness to collaborate with senior stakeholders including the Sr. Manager IT Services, Director of Network and Systems, and other leadership members involved in global security and compliance initiatives
